Rolled French Toast

This one is made without any recipes but it ended up great taste. It was also still great when I eat it the next morning without being refridged only warmed (although my friend asked would she got stomachache if she eats it #punch her!)

– 5 slices left over white bread

– 1 egg

– 1 tbs flour

– 5 tbs water or milk

– salt

– 1 garlic

– 1 stalk of scallion (you can add more if you like. I found it the more the better taste)

– pepper powder

– sausages for the filling

1. Mix egg, salt, pepper powder, chopped scallion, chopped garlic

2. Add flour and water. Mix thoroughly until it is smooth

3. Dip each of bread slice to the flour mixture until all bread surface is covered

4. Put the sausage on the side of the bread, then roll the bread

5. Bring the rolled bread to the preheated pan (or oven). Turn the side and keep about 3 mins each side. It is ready when the color is brownish and the inside is not watery anymore.
It is a good option for breakfast and get along very well with chili sauce and veggies.

Having a conversation with your old friends is nice. So much good old time back then that we always remember. I don’t know for you, but for me I remember mostly the good time instead of the bad one, unless if it was really painful.

Other than mesmerizing the old time, we also try to catch up for what they have been up to. Of course, a topic of occupation will also come across. It sometimes got me thinking what have I been doing in my life and what achievement I already have. It is not for showing up, but it got me thinking where I am compared to others. Yeah, I know that comparing ourselves with others is not good, but it’s not entirely bad. Sometimes it motivates you, but some other times it also stress you out.

Which Country in Europe?

Which country in Europe left the most impression to me?

Well, it’s hard to answer. Like the title of this blog ‘each place leaves footprint’ (in my heart).

Oh yeah, Norway! It’s because I lived there for 2 years through the seasons, happiness, depression, laughter, friendship, and hard work (I felt it was a hard work, no mater what the result is.hehe). Not only for living, the travel destinations there were also magnificent. They are natural. I miss Tromso for sure, even though I was there when the sun was below the horizon, not warm at all.

Paris was my first travel destination after I touched Norway. I went there twice, first with my family, and the second with my friend, Risca. Paris is crowded with people with many races. The people, places, language, food were different. I can’t describe what is ‘different’. When I try to remember Paris, it gives me feeling of warm, vintage, unique, calm breeze, and something like when you met someone you’ve missed. Well, it’s hard to describe.haha.

Amsterdam is different from Paris which the remaining buildings from the past are not as glamorous as in Paris. In Amsterdam I can see an engineered country since ages ago. The traditional windmills and canals show it. Beside the engineering, it offers beauty of ‘engineered’ flower garden. From there, I recognize the smell of weed *off the record*.

Rome (why am I writing all the metropolitan cities). It’s widely known that ancient Rome was really powerful. I could see from the buildings. Rome has a lot of historical places, also religious and cultural sites. It was so interesting to see  the gigantic Colosseum that was used as a gladiators fight show, the sacred Vatican, and also many artistic objects to be enjoyed.

Well, I guess I will continue next time (Idk when).
